TikTok Statistics Singapore 2026: Users, Demographics, and Time Spent
TikTok reached 3.80 million adults in Singapore in late 2025, equal to 75.4 percent of everyone aged 18 and above, according to DataReportal’s Digital 2026: Singapore report. That is roughly three in four adults in a market of 5.88 million people.

The number is large enough that most consumer brands in Singapore can no longer treat TikTok as an experimental channel. It is also small enough, in absolute terms, that the planning problem is different from the one marketers face in Indonesia or the United States.
This article sets out the current user, demographic, and time-spent figures for TikTok in Singapore, explains what each number actually measures, and covers what the numbers change about media planning.
How Many People Use TikTok in Singapore?
TikTok’s advertising tools reported 3.80 million users aged 18 and above in Singapore in late 2025. That figure is equivalent to 75.4 percent of the adult population and 66.3 percent of all internet users in the country, regardless of age.
Growth over the year was steep. TikTok’s reported ad reach in Singapore rose by 392,000 people, or 11.5 percent, between the end of 2024 and late 2025, up from 3.41 million.
The quarterly picture moved the other way. The same data show reported reach falling by 94,500 (2.4 percent) between July and October 2025, a decline DataReportal attributes in part to platforms removing duplicate or inauthentic accounts rather than to people leaving.
| Metric | Singapore, late 2025 |
| TikTok users aged 18+ | 3.80 million |
| Share of adults aged 18+ reached | 75.4% |
| Share of all internet users reached | 66.3% |
| Year-on-year change | +392,000 (+11.5%) |
| Quarterly change (Jul to Oct 2025) | -94,500 (-2.4%) |
| Female share of adult ad audience | 52.0% |

What Do TikTok’s Singapore User Numbers Actually Measure?
Every published TikTok user figure for Singapore is an advertising reach estimate, not a monthly active user count. TikTok does not publish country-level active user numbers, so the 3.80 million figure describes the audience marketers can target through the ad platform.

Two limits follow from that. TikTok allows people aged 13 and above to use the app, but its ad planning tools only report audience data for users aged 18 and above, so the true Singapore user base is larger than 3.80 million by an unpublished amount.
The second limit concerns change over time. Platforms periodically revise their reach estimates and remove accounts that breach their terms, which can produce a drop in reported reach with no change in real usage. A quarterly decline of 2.4 percent alongside annual growth of 11.5 percent is best read as a correction rather than a trend.
Figures that appear elsewhere as precise counts of “TikTok users in Singapore” almost always trace back to this same advertising estimate. Treating it as a planning ceiling for paid reach, rather than as a census, keeps forecasts honest.
What Are TikTok’s User Demographics in Singapore?
TikTok’s adult audience in Singapore was 52.0 percent female and 48.0 percent male in late 2025. That is a reversal from early 2025, when the same tools reported 49.7 percent female and 50.3 percent male, per DataReportal’s Digital 2025: Singapore report.

The shift matters for categories where gender skew drives creative and product decisions, including beauty, fashion, and F&B. A platform that was close to even a year ago now leans slightly female in its addressable audience.
Age is where the public data thins out. TikTok’s advertising resources do not publish a country-level age breakdown for Singapore, so any article presenting a precise age split for TikTok users here is working from a modelled estimate or a third-party panel, not from the platform.
Population structure gives useful context in its place. Singapore’s adult population skews older than TikTok’s typical core audience, with 20.3 percent of the total population aged 25 to 34, 16.2 percent aged 35 to 44, and 25.2 percent aged 55 and above, according to the United Nations data published in Digital 2026: Singapore.
The practical reading is that a platform reaching 75.4 percent of all adults in a population that old cannot be a Gen Z channel alone. TikTok’s Singapore audience necessarily includes a substantial share of people in their thirties, forties, and beyond.
How Does TikTok Compare With Other Platforms in Singapore?
TikTok ranks behind YouTube and level with Facebook on reported reach in Singapore, and ahead of Instagram. YouTube’s advertising reach of 5.33 million is the largest of any platform, covering 90.6 percent of the total population.
The table below sets the main platforms side by side on the same basis, using each platform’s own advertising reach data for late 2025.
| Platform | Reported reach | Share of adults 18+ | Year-on-year change |
| YouTube | 5.33 million | Not published separately | +3.3% |
| TikTok (18+ only) | 3.80 million | 75.4% | +11.5% |
| 3.80 million | 75.5% | +5.6% | |
| 3.35 million | 65.5% | +9.8% | |
| LinkedIn (registered members) | 5.10 million | Reported at 101.3% | +8.5% |
| Snapchat | 1.24 million | 19.9% | +13.0% |
Source: DataReportal, Digital 2026: Singapore. LinkedIn reports total registered members rather than active users, so its figures are not directly comparable.
Read together, these numbers describe heavy overlap rather than separate audiences. With 5.33 million social media user identities in a population of 5.88 million, the same people are being counted on four or five platforms at once. Incremental reach from adding a platform in Singapore is therefore small, while incremental cost is not.
How Much Time Do Singaporeans Spend on TikTok?
TikTok holds more monthly attention per user in Singapore than any other social platform. Android users in Singapore spent an average of 34 hours and 29 minutes a month on TikTok, ahead of YouTube at 29 hours and 45 minutes, according to We Are Social and Meltwater’s Digital 2025 report for Singapore.
That works out to roughly 69 minutes a day on TikTok against 59 minutes on YouTube. Both figures cover Android app usage only, which is the standard basis for this measurement.
The same research put total daily social media use in Singapore at 2 hours and 2 minutes in January 2025, down 8.4 percent year on year. TikTok is therefore capturing a rising share of a flat or slightly shrinking attention pool.
For content planning, depth of attention is the more useful of the two numbers. Reach tells a brand how many people it can put a video in front of, while time spent tells it how often the feed will serve that video before the audience has seen it too many times. Posting cadence and refresh cycles are covered in our guide to the best times to post on social media in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Which Country Has the Highest TikTok Usage?
Indonesia has the largest TikTok audience of any country, with 180 million users aged 18 and above in late 2025, reaching 88.9 percent of Indonesian adults, according to DataReportal’s Digital 2026: Indonesia report. The United States and Brazil follow on absolute user numbers.
Singapore does not compete on scale and is not meant to. Its significance sits in penetration, where 75.4 percent adult reach places it among the more saturated TikTok markets in the world, and in purchasing power per user.
For brands running regional campaigns, the difference changes how budget should be split. A Southeast Asian campaign that allocates by population will underweight Singapore relative to its commercial value, while one that allocates by audience value will usually do the opposite.
Is TikTok Active in Singapore, and Why Is It Based There?
TikTok operates in Singapore both as a consumer platform and as a corporate base. TikTok Pte. Ltd. is registered in Singapore and the city is one of the company’s principal offices, alongside its operations in the United States.
The platform is also regulated locally. TikTok is on the Infocomm Media Development Authority’s list of designated social media services subject to the Code of Practice for Online Safety, which sets requirements on content moderation and user reporting.
For marketers, the corporate presence has one concrete effect worth knowing. Regional TikTok sales and partnership teams covering Southeast Asia are frequently based in Singapore, which shortens the path to platform support for brands running campaigns across several markets from a Singapore entity.
What Do These Numbers Mean for TikTok Marketing in Singapore?
The combination of high penetration and a small absolute audience makes frequency, not reach, the binding constraint in Singapore. A campaign targeting adults aged 25 to 44 is working with a pool in the low millions at most, so the same people see the same creative repeatedly within a short flight.
Budget floors compound this. TikTok requires a minimum of USD 50 per day at campaign level and USD 20 per day at ad group level, per TikTok Ads Manager documentation, and running several ad groups against a narrow Singapore audience concentrates spend on a shrinking set of users.
In campaigns we run for consumer brands across Singapore and Japan, this shows up as a faster creative refresh cycle in Singapore than the same brand needs in a larger market, paired with broader targeting rather than tighter targeting. Narrowing the audience in a market where the platform already reaches three in four adults raises costs without improving relevance.

The commerce layer changes the maths again for retail brands, since TikTok Shop turns the same attention into direct transactions rather than site visits. We cover that shift in detail in our analysis of the rise of TikTok Shop in Southeast Asia.
Platform choice should follow from the overlap in the comparison table above rather than from TikTok’s numbers in isolation. Our social media marketing guide for Singapore businesses sets out how the platforms divide attention across a full channel mix, and our social media marketing team plans and runs these programmes across Singapore, Tokyo, and New York.
